I
heard these were good mics to use as overheads. beep. Wrong answer.
They sound shitty as overhead mics. However, they do redeem themselves
as an acoustic guitar mic, albeit a very coloured one. I quite liked
what they sounded like on a Leslie cabinet too (one on the top,
one on the bottom). If you want a neutral sounding SD condenser,
look elsewhere.
