I
really like the sound of these so-called 'white coned screechers'.
People that complain about NS10's sounding harsh either a) listen
to them too loudly or b) listen to them in a small and boxy room.
They are an acquired taste but once you get used to them you can
get the midrange happening more easily than with most other speakers.
And who cares if they don't sound great, they're not supposed to.
