of gain in a neat, light, 4 channel 1U rack case. Very very clean
sounding, even with channels 3&4 given the Burr-Brown onceover.
Steve Albini talks highly of this preamp, and that guy knows his
shit. Apparently the circuit design is based on an early Neotek
design, but I probably heard that on an internet forum by some loser
with no clue about anything.
I've
put Burr-Brown chips on channels 3 & 4 after reading about it
on an internet forum. Confirming what I've been saying about internet
forums, I can't tell the difference at all which leads me to believe
it's a load of sh!t posted by some clueless twat with nothing better
to do.
