Linear Recording is music studio based in Sydney, Australia.

The studio has been built from the ground up to offer artists and bands a world-class, technically proficient but highly creative workspace at an affordable price.

Whilst we might look as though we only cater for bands, you might be surprised to know that around 50% of what we do is for solo artists/singer songwriters. Artists such as Josh Pyke, Leroy Lee, Katie Noonan, Tom Jordan, Elvi Jean, Lucy Hall, Damien Binder, Tim Tebbutt and many more have all recorded their solo albums at Linear.

Our aim has always been to provide an affordable, world-class facility that isn't too big nor too imposing for artists that want to realise their creative desires at an affordable rate. We are proud of the fact that we're one of the cheaper studios around, but compare favourably to some of the most expensive.

We also have a fine collection of vintage and modern instruments at your disposal, all included as part of the daily rate including a huge collection of vintage keyboards, amps, drums and percussion.
