Linear Recording consists of one large control room, one large recording room and one vocal booth. The studio is large enough for most bands to perform live, even with amps isolated. More often than not a recording is treated like a rehearsal of sorts, which usually results in the best performances as there is less pressure and more familiarity to the session. We avoid headphones and click tracks where possible, and even include (at no extra cost) use of a smoke machine and mirror ball for that "hey, we're playing a gig" effect.
